A gray Christmas Eve morning has found its way to our house in northern Illinois as I write this. I am very thankful for all that I have and for all the friends “out there” in the blog world.
I send my best Christmas and holiday wishes to one and all, and hope for each to find peace and happiness and health in the coming year.
There are still many roads for us to travel in 2017, and I look forward to it very much! Whatever your holiday plans may be, enjoy them all.
The gray reflects the somber side of 2016, I think. There’s much to consider personally and as a human being in this bigger world. I think you are also snow-covered – yes? I remember growing up in Illinois and immersing my whole being in the snow. The more the better. Time has a way of altering that perspective. At first, so beautiful and then tiring and gray, like your sky. And a metaphor for life in many ways.
And looking ahead — I nod and embrace the sentiment expressed: many roads to travel in 2017. You definitely have the best heading for your blog page, Mark. All the best to you and yours.
